Connolly Leather Bound Seams

Connolly leather bound seams.  

Seams are funny things, vital in reality, but why would you think about them? Far more important things to consider, right?

So I have this linen travel jacket from Connolly, you know Connolly, THE London brand of 90s, triumphantly reborn in W1S, the inspirer of playboy cashmere dreams and maker of buttery leather goods. 

It’s blue, I suspect Yves Klein blue, useless on safari, fantastic if out searching for mischief. Great piece, a proper industry “where’s that from?” jacket. 

The thing about it though, beyond the colour, cut and fabric. The seams, leather bound, seen by no one, but chest puffingly perfect.
